Culmination Rehearsals
Attention 8th Grade culminating students, we will be rehearsing for your culmination all this week to ensure we have a successful ceremony and make your parents proud!

Ready for AVID? Are in you interested in joining AVID next year? AVID will be open for grades 6, 7 & 8. Complete your AVID application and turn it in to your counselor Mrs. Garcia.

Ready for Leadership? Are you interested in joining Leadership next year? Leadership will be open for grades 7 & 8. See Mrs. Wolbert in room E305 for an application. All elective applications are due Friday, May 29. Don’t delay!

Ready for MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science & Technology)? Are you interested in joining MESA next year? The MESA class will be open for 8th graders onl, however, you can join the MESA Afterschool club if you are a 6th or 7th grader. See Ms. Vidal in room E304 for an application. GOLDEN GLOBAL GATOR (G3) SHOUT OUT: The G3 for this week goes out to Ms. C. Garcia & Mrs. Galindo for Chaperoning students on Saturday to UCLA and inspiring them to continue their education beyond high school!

Thank you all for your continued support during passing periods. Just a reminder that supervision is key and your help is needed during passing periods. Thank you all.

 

Final Grades: Final grade verification sheets are due Wednesday, May 27 to Ms. Rubalcavas office.

 

CSUDH Summer School Applications: Once again CSUDH will be supporting our students with STEM rich summer school from June 10 to July 15. Once applications are distributed, please encourage students to return the applications as soon as possible. Thank You

Summer School Applications: LAUSD Sponsored Summer School will also be held from June 15 to July 10 for selected students. Applications will be color coded and your support will also be needed to encourage students to return the applications as soon as possible.

 

Culmination Rehearsals: If you are an 8th grade teacher, please plan to assist in the rehearsals to ensure students are following directions. Non-culminating students will be redirected to a designated classroom. Please plan accordingly.

Jupiter Grades: Please make sure your JupiterGrades are posted and updated. Parents and staff utilize this site to determine progress or interventions. If there are any discrepancies with your JupiterGrade rosters, please see Ms. Connie as soon as possible.
