Student Section

 

 

Powder Puff 2013Only students who have signed up and qualify will be allowed to participate in this year’s game.  If you have any questions regarding eligibility please see Ms. Cardona or Ms. Henriquez as soon as possible.

 

Powder Puff 2013 TicketsPowder Puff will take place on Friday, March 22nd during 7th period. Tickets are on sale for only $3 outside of room D309. Buy your tickets early. Powder Puff is guaranteed to sell out!

 

Parent Conferences:  This is an opportunity for all your parents to show their support by attending our parent/teacher conferences.  It is very important for parents to be informed of all the work you have done and how they can continue to help you improve.  See you all here on next Wednesday, March 13 from 4pm-7pm, Thursday, March 14, from 1pm-3pm and Thursday, March 15 from 1pm-3pm.

 

Periodic Assessments (Math& English):  Have you made it to the Celebrating Success Poster?  If not this is your chance! Remember that if you improve your previous score and/or score advance and/or proficient you will qualify for a free dress pass for 4 free dress passes.  Don’t be left out.

 

Saturday School:  You have one more Saturdays left to work hard and review the various concepts you need to master.  See you at the BBQ on the last Saturday J

 

Education 2020:  Please report to the computer lab on time every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.  Remember that this program is available to support you.  Don’t miss this opportunity. 

 

Teacher section

 

Professional Development:  (1:30-2:30pm)

Advisory Period:  Please make sure that students have a novel as well as their reading log for Advisory.  Students are to be reading silently and completing their logs.  If you have any questions please see Ms. Cardona, Ms. Serrano, or Ms. Henriquez.

 

Student Led Conferences:  Will take place Wednesday, March 13, Thursday, March 14, and Friday March 15.  Please prepare your students for this event J

 

 

Student Work Posted:  Please make sure there is current, graded, comment rich and accompanied by a rubric.

 

Hallpass:  Reminder… students are to be in class the first 15 minutes of every class.  Let’s be positive role models to our students.  They know the policy and look at us for guidance.  Thank you for teaching them how to follow policies/rules. 

 

Attendance:  Make sure you submit attendance the first 15 minutes of class.

 

Lunch Passes:  Do you need additional lunch passes for your students?  If so, see Ms. Connie in the office.
